Now in its 3rd year, the DayOut.ie Christmas Guide is probably Ireland's most comprehensive list of Christmas activities leading up to and during the Christmas holidays.
New for 2010, we have launched an awards programme where our monthly audience of 30,000 users can vote on Irish venues and decide if your Christmas experience really is a ‘Christmas Cracker'!!.
The following categories are open to all venues throughout Ireland:
1. BEST SANTA
Will be voted by users/parents visiting venues Nationwide and can be awarded for Santa personality, Santa's Grotto, Gifts and Santa Costume
2. BEST EVENT (e.g Panto, Workshop, Party etc.)
Will be voted on users/parents and can be awarded for Best Event based on entertainment and value for money
3. BEST OVERALL CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE
Will be voted on by users/parents and can be awarded for Best Overall Christmas experience that our users would recommend to others. This category includes setting, staff & service and overall experience.
1. Click the ‘Get Listed' button on the DayOut.ie homepage to submit details about your Christmas Santa, Christmas Event or Christmas Experience.
2. On receipt of your details, DayOut.ie will email your 'Vote For Us' badge and your unique link code. This shoud be uploaded to display in a HOMEPAGE position on your web site.
Inclusion in the DayOut.ie Christmas Guide & Cracker Awards Competition is FREE, once the DayOut.ie ‘Vote For Us' button is placed on your web site. Your venue will be entered as a Basic listing in alphabetical order. Should you wish to appear higher in the list (i.e. above your competition!) other options are available and we'll include some info when your badge is being emailed to you.
Everyone who votes will be included in a Christmas draw for DayOut goodies. The actual winning venue in each category will be announced before Christmas and will receive a FREE advertising package on DayOut.ie for 2011, valued at over €1,500.00 Winners will be promoted throughout 2011 by DayOut.ie, including Press Releases to National Media contacts, announcements via DayOut Social Media channels, as well as advertisements and news editorials on the DayOut.ie web site, which was seen by almost 1/2 million people across Ireland throughout 2010.
Don't forget that the WINNERS will be included in DayOut promotions in 2011. We recently met with the St Patrick's Day Festival Committee about involvement in the 2011 Festival, so you get included in everything we're doing throughout 2011.
DayOut.ie is now ranked 1st place in Google for ‘Things to do in Ireland' and was recently nominated for Best Entertainment web site at the Realex Irish Web Awards. We are also pleased to be the sole provider of content to the HSE LittleSteps.eu and Jacobs4Kids.com web sites.
