Back by popular demand, Taste Knockranny will take place on January 24th once again showcasing all the delicacies the area surrounding the hotel has to offer. Knockranny House Hotel & Spa, renowned for its relaxing setting, stunning views and deluxe spa, is fast becoming celebrated for its gourmet food.

Knockranny prides itself on stocking the best of what the local area has to offer, samples of which will be on show in Knockranny House Hotel's Cocktail Lounge.

The Taste Knockranny display will include produce from the award winning Kelly's butchers and from Croagh Patrick Seafoods, which is produced from prestigious regional mariculture sites. Also available to taste is delicious Carrowholly Cheese and Marlene's Chocolates from the expert chocolatier.

For those who appreciate a full-bodied burgundy as much as a full-flavoured cheese, the Taste Knockranny display will be followed by a wine tasting given by Liam Cabot of Cabot wines.

Many of the wines have been critically acclaimed by leading domestic and international journalists, including winning four "Best Red Wine/White Wine of the Year" awards from the Best of Wine in Ireland.

Following this visitors will experience a cocktail demonstration given by Bar Manager Owen Hughes, who will be demonstrating how to make his award winning cocktail Raspberry Dream and the classic Mojito. Of course attentive students will get a taste of the cocktails after demonstrations!

That evening, in La Fougère restaurant, a tasting menu will be created by Knockranny House Hotel's new Executive Head Chef Seamus Commons, showcasing the finest flavours of the region in a series of exquisite dishes. La Fougère emphasises fresh seafood, the finest local ingredients, panoramic views and a walk-through wine cellar.
