The hugely popular Soul Kids returns to the Body & Soul festival this June 18th/19th with a program of electric neon jellyfish. clouds of glitterflies, dancing fairies in disguise - a place where children play in a world of magic as part of a festival that parents love too!
The jam-packed program that will not just be contained within the Soul Kids garden at Ballinlough Castle this year. There will also be oodles of activities & performances for children dotted across the festival. With fantastic feedback from all the families and children last year, it was an amazing weekend, putting the Body & Soul festival on the family friendly list.
The unique Gathering Drum workshops will return, drumming up a storm with parents & children over the weekend. There will once again be the very popular Funky Feet Dance crew showing us their hip-hop & modern dance moves, as well as the lyrical Rainbow Music Singing classes with Niamh & her team. New this year is a Soul Kids Disco with the effervescent One World Irish DJ Will Softly were families can move and groove to some of the best global and old school disco sounds.
For the first time at the Body & Soul Festival, there will be designated family times in the Hot Tub area, nestled in the Woodlands. Book in some Family Tub Time & enjoy the bubbling bathing Oasis.
We will have The Amazing Few, doing a special Children's show. An 11- piece band they are wizards of feel-good frenzy, dancing, delirium and general mayhem. Notorious for their high-energy shows, celebrating imagination, smiling, dancing and letting go!
Alongside all these fabulous acts, workshops & activities, we will also have Daily Kiddies Yoga, Storytelling, Arts & Crafts, Jewellery making & lots more!
Please note: Parents are requested to register their little ones online so Soul Kids can be well prepared. Restrictions apply to certain workshops.
