Ireland's Lapland at Glendeer Farm
Its not everyday that you arrive at a farm decorated with thousands of twinkling lights, meet Santa & his real live deer Dancer & Prancer or see a crib with a live cow & donkey, except of course when you visit Ireland's Lapland at Glendeer Pet Farm. Glendeer is transformed into Ireland's Lapland for the month of December and all facilities are undercover. There is an animated snow scene & also an indoor sand area with diggers & a slide to keep the children entertained.
Llama from South America, ostrich from Africa, Vietnamese pot belly pigs, deer, goats, emu, donkies, rabbits, pupies and lots more animals & birds meet & greet all the visitors while yoletide music confirms the event of Christmas.
Ireland's Lapland has something for everyone, young & old alike. The children get a little bag of food to feed the animals as they make their way over to see Santa, have a chat with him & receive a gift. Take along your own camera to remember your visit to Santa.

This place is great!!! Want to go again, whats the opening hours?
Great place, really get up close to the animals and free to roam around the grounds. Only drawback was the cost - same price for child as adult. Well worth the visit.
